Project Description

New 6 storeys condo building with 168 units and 162,000 SF of commercial on the ground floor in a busy intersection in Hamilton. Underground parking is proposed for this development to achieve the desired number of parking spaces. Amenities areas will be on the rooftop. The design is very contemporary in principal consisting in basically glass mass with striking architectural details. The use of the wood panel architectural feature at the corner softens the building and becomes the main focal point from the street.  The building faces are closer to the streets which is a urban design approach that is more describable to this busy urban area.

Project Description

Pierre Urban Architects has been retained to design the new headquarters for this Research Facility company which will house office areas, laboratory, clean room and service areas. A modern design approach has been taken to this building. We used cement and aluminum panels at the front and metal siding at the rear to save costs.

This design is to convert an existing building into a 11 bedrooms retirement home in Hamilton. We are also completely re-design the exterior of the building to make it more modern. Lima is proposing high quality contemporary materials such as cement panels and aluminum composite panels. The result is an elegant building with much more pleasing curb appeal to this intersection.
