The use natural looking materials such stone and wood siding along with neutral earthy paint colors gives this project a “nature” feel. Pierre Urban Architects has received several complements from the public as well as from City’s staff.

Project Description

New modern custom home in Burlington, ON. Simple and yet prominent. This contemporary house has an interesting play of shapes, massing and voids. The main material of the house is white EIFS with a powerful stone wall that “anchors” the light shapes to the ground. The wood siding detail softens and warms up the design.

The Client desire was to modernize the building curb appeal. We came up with an eye-catching design that really transformed the overall building appearance.

The Cedar Springs Racquet Club Building needed a new exterior modern look to compliment the recent interior renovations Pierre Urban Architects has been helping with. Lima was asked to come up with a concept for this facade and our team is pleased with the results. We replaced the outdated metal cladding with new ACM panels while introducing new shapes and refinished the masonry.

Located at the corner of Brant St. and Prospect St. in Burlington, ON, this building houses a pharmacy on the ground floor and a sleep clinic on the 2nd floor. It has an interesting combination of solids and voids with finishing materials that complement each other resulting in a pleasing looking building at  this busy intersection in Burlington. This building was designed by Pierre while working at ATA Architects.

Project Description

Contemporary re-build and addition to an existing side split house in Burlington. We used a combination of stone and architectural wood looking cement panels as accent to “break” the stucco walls. The elongated canopy ties in the 3 car garage to the house and gives it a striking horizontal line.
