Office Building Renovation in Oakville

Project Description

The scope of this project was to complete renovate this office building located in Oakville. The Client wanted to modernize the space with a bold and elegant interior design. The renovations will happen throughout with special attention to the reception area and main accessible washroom located at the entrance lobby. The old stair case will be re-cladded with stain steel and a new glass raining will be introduced to make the stair case the focal point of the main entrance. The washroom is being completely guttered and new finishes and architectural elements introduced for striking first impression.

Project Description

The Cedar Springs Racquet Club Building needed a new exterior modern look to compliment the recent interior renovations Pierre Urban Architects has been helping with. Lima was asked to come up with a concept for this facade and our team is pleased with the results. We replaced the outdated metal cladding with new ACM panels while introducing new shapes and refinished the masonry.

Project Description

New 15,300 s.f. commercial building on Port Robinson Rd. Located on a corner street , this building will have commercial units on the ground floor and office space on the 2nd floor. Special attention has been given to the corner design of the building which will be the prominent feature creating a strong and pleasant identity to this corner. The 2nd floor office space is set back from the main font wall of the ground level to create a terrace on the 2nd level articulating and “breaking” the mass of the building. The building is also located close to the street to be in line with the new urban design guidelines promoting pedestrian circulation and to screen the parking area from public view. The building is of contemporary design with high quality materials with the intention to become a landmark for this street intersection.
