Cedar Springs Racquet Club is growing. Pierre Urban Architects has been retained to design the expansion and remodeling of their child care centre. The vision is to create a warm, fun and welcoming space for their kids. The design incorporates geometrical shapes and forms to estimate learning while using vibrant colors and materials. The result is a pleasant place where the parents would feel comfortable to drop their children in.

Project Description

The Cedar Springs Racquet Club Building needed a new exterior modern look to compliment the recent interior renovations Pierre Urban Architects has been helping with. Lima was asked to come up with a concept for this facade and our team is pleased with the results. We replaced the outdated metal cladding with new ACM panels while introducing new shapes and refinished the masonry.

Project Description

Pierre Urban Architects has been retained to design a mixed-use duplex to replace an existing outdated commercial building that was sitting on the property. A contemporary design approach was taken, with the idea to keep the duplex looking like one uniform building. The arrangement of large windows along with the use of stone, wood looking cement panels and stucco, brings forth a modern barn house feel to this design. Both the client and Pierre Urban Architects are thrilled with the result.

The Cedar Springs Health, Racquet and Sports Club is an older building and needed some help to be modernized and upgraded.The project consisted in an extensive renovation of the club including new washroom, renovation of existing washrooms, change rooms and main foyer. Pierre Urban Architects worked together with interior designer Dawn Anastasakis to achieve the Client’s goals and vision for these spaces.
